CHICAGO— A man was found unresponsive Tuesday night in West Englewood, police said.
At 8:15 p.m., police discovered a 42-year-old man dead in the 5900 block of South Wolcott Avenue, police said.
The man was identified as Matthew Dowdell, 42, of the 5900 block of South Wolcott Avenue, by the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. According to the autopsy report, Dowdell died from a gunshot wound to his head.
No one is in custody, and police are investigating.
