UKRAINIAN VILLAGE — After the door of a Ukrainian Village restaurant's just-installed windbreaker vestibule was defaced with a message scrawled in black marker early Saturday, the owners are sharing images of the alleged tagger in hopes of finding him.

"Hey friends, our door got tagged last night. If anyone knows this guy, please tell him, we would like for him to come and clean up our door," said a message on Whisk's Facebook page on Sunday

According to Whisk's general manager Sundae Robinson, the restaurant's new peach wind breaker door, which was installed on Thursday, was defaced with lettering about two-inches high, just above the door knob.

The message says: "West Town (Cool Bro)."

"We are sad and do not know why they would deface our building opposed to other restaurants that have the same type of door. We do not know who this person is, but it seems like he set out to deface our door," Robinson said.

Robinson said she is not sure if the defacement is in permanent marker but since the restaurant, located at 2018 W. Chicago Ave., in the former Chickpea storefront, just got the temporary wind shelter installed, they are waiting until Monday to speak with the vendor who installed the door to see what would be the best way to clean the material.
