CHICAGO — A 22-year-old man was shot Monday night in Back of the Yards.
Around 7:45 p.m., the man was walking with friends in the 4800 block of South Wolcott Avenue when a man came out of a black car and began shooting at them, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man was listed in stable condition at Stroger Hospital after being struck in the leg, Sedevic said.
No one is in custody for the shooting, Sedevic said.
