CHICAGO — Two women were shot Saturday afternoon in West Englewood. Police said the shooting may have stemmed from a domestic incident.
The shooting occurred about 1:20 p.m. in the 6900 block of South Justine Avenue, said Officer Veejay Zala, a Chicago Police Department spokesman.
One woman, 58, was shot in the right hand and taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition. The second woman, 26, was shot in the back and shoulder, Zala said. She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition.
Police had no more information.
