CHICAGO — Police found a 29-year-old man fatally shot in Englewood early Sunday.
Around 4:47 a.m., officers found the man unresponsive after being shot in the face in the passenger side of a car parked in the 1500 block of West 72nd Place, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The shooter left in a dark SUV and no one is in custody, Pacheco said.
Police continued to investigate the homicide, which occurred across the street from the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday.
