EleVarte Day of the Dead Processional — Pilsen arts group EleVarte celebrates Dia De Los Muertos with the 35th annual Muertos de la Risa processional Saturday. Face painting and musical performances begin at 2 p.m. at Dvorak Park and a Recuerda mi Nombre ceremony starts about 4:30 p.m. Saturday. After the ceremony, participants in Day of the Dead-inspired costumes can join in on the 5 p.m. community processional through Pilsen. Free. Carrera de los Muertos Race of the Dead — Cheer on 5,000 runners at this sold-out 5K race in Pilsen, organized the United Neighborhood Organization (UNO). Race starts at 8 a.m. Saturday, Bartolome De Las Casas Charter School, 1641 W. 16th St., Pilsen
Museum Day of the Dead Community Night — The National Museum fo Mexican Art hosts a family-friendly Day of the Dead community night with crafts, face painting, family photos and a sugar skull raffle. Guests can make Cempasuchil flowers and view the museum's Day of the Dead: Rito y Recuerdo exhibition, too. 3-5 p.m. Saturday, 1852 W. 19th St., Pilsen
Casa de la Cultura Day of the Dead — Artistic altars and folkloric dancers will wake the dead at Casa de la Cultura Mestizarte, a Pilsen art gallery, Saturday night. Drinks and traditional fare will be served. Doors open at 6 p.m. Saturday, 1440 W. 18th St., Pilsen
Beautiful Souls Coffin opening at Cultura — Curator Delilah Salgado once again brings the Beautiful Souls Coffin Show to life with Cultura Cura at Cultura this year. Opening reception 7 p.m., 1900 S. Carpenter St., Pilsen.
