DOWNTOWN — Saturday's rugby match pitting the U.S. national team versus New Zealand's heralded All Blacks may be sold out, but fans can meet some of their favorite ruggers Friday at Howells & Hood.

Air New Zealand is hosting a "Kiwi-style tailgate" from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the restaurant located in Tribune Tower. Six All Blacks players will be at the event, which is open to the pubilc, and attendees will have a chance to win a trip to New Zealand, courtesy of Air New Zealand.

Organizers are calling it a boot - Kiwi for tailgate - and New Zealand-inspired food and drinks (think meat pies and flat whites) will be on the menu.

Saturday's match is the first time in 34 years the famed All Blacks play the U.S. Men's Eagles.

You can be sure the All Blacks will do their intimidating "haka" war cry. Organizers say the dance will be taught at Friday's event.
