CHICAGO — A 17-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting in Little Village Monday night.

Around 9:25 p.m., the teen was walking on the sidewalk in the 2700 block of South St. Louis Street when a man got out of a black SUV and fired shots at him, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The boy was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition after being shot in the lower left leg, Pacheco said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
