CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man was shot in Gresham Monday.

The man was in the 1700 block of West 85th Street about 6:10 p.m. when a man hopped out of a car and opened fire, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The shooter then got back into the car and drove off. The 25-year-old was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition after being shot in his stomach and buttocks, Pacheco said.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
