Red Line Trains to Bypass Rogers Park, Edgewater Stations This Weekend

ROGERS PARK — Northbound and southbound Red Line trains won't stop at some stations in the neighborhood this weekend as the Chicago Transit Authority works on the "L" tracks.

The CTA alerted riders at the affected stations and on its website.

From midnight-4 a.m. Saturday, southbound trains will bypass the Jarvis, Morse, Loyola, Granville, Thorndale and Bryn Mawr stations.

From 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, northbound trains will bypass the Morse and Jarvis stations.

From midnight-4 a.m. Sunday, northbound trains will bypass the Bryn Mawr, Thorndale, Granville, Loyola, Morse and Jarvis stations.

The CTA says to allow extra time for travel.
