HYDE PARK — Third Coast Percussion will perform a concert of politically motivated pieces on Nov. 1 at the Logan Center for the Arts.

At 7:30 p.m. the quartet will perform “Haunt of Last Nightfall: Music and Politics Connect and Collide,” a rumination on a tragedy in a South American town 30 years ago composed by David Little for the ensemble.

The concert will also feature politically inspired works by John Cage and Frederic Rzewski.

Tickets are available online for $25 at ticketsweb.uchicago.edu.
