CHICAGO — Four teens were shot Tuesday night, including three wounded in Englewood.
The most recent shooting wounded two teens who were standing on a front porch in the 1500 block of West 72nd Place, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
Around 9:45 p.m., three men walked up to the teens and opened fire. Both teens were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition, Pacheco said.
An 18-year-old was shot multiple times in his right leg and a 17-year-old was shot in his right leg and groin, Pacheco said.
About two hours earlier, a 17-year-old boy was shot in his lower back as he walked east on 66th Street toward Halsted Street, Pacheco said.
Around 7:35 p.m., the boy was shot in his lower back and buttocks during the possible drive-by shooting. The teen, who is gang affiliated, was taken to Christ in serious condition, Pacheco said.
Around 5:30 p.m., a 15-year-old boy was shot in his left arm while walking in the 5800 block of South Michigan Avenue in Washington Park. The boy, who is gang affiliated, was treated at Comer Children's Hospital and released, Pacheco said.
