MAGNIFICENT MILE — Want to eat like Mike? Now it's possible — for a price.

Michael Jordan's eponymous steak house at 505 N. Michigan Ave. has made no secret of the fact that an oversized booth set aside from the main dining room is reserved for the Chicago Bulls star whenever he dines in.

Starting this week, guests can call in to reserve a turn at Jordan's signature booth — Table 23, naturally — and sample a prix fixe menu of the athlete's favorite dishes.

Lizzie Schiffman Tufano says you get quite a surprise if MJ shows up while you're eating at his table:

Tables of two or four will feast on crab cakes, double-smoke bacon, and a Delmonico steak dry-aged for 45 days served with roasted bone marrow and a mashed potato trio.

Dining like Mike costs $300 for two guests and $600 for a table of four, and includes wine or beer pairings with each course.

But the promotion doesn't mean "his Airness" will lose his standing reservation at his favorite table. If Jordan blows through the restaurant while his table is occupied, guests will be bumped — but MJ will pick up their tab.

The Table 23 menu is also available for guests booking private dining events. For reservations or more information, call Michael Jordan's Steak House at 312-321-8823 or visit the restaurant's website.
