HYDE PARK — Comedian and “Daily Show” contributor Wyatt Cenac will introduce “Putney Swope” at the Black Cinema House on Sunday.

Cenac will introduce the 1969 satire of the intersection of race, media and advertising at 4 p.m. at the Black Cinema House, 7200 S. Kimbark Ave.

The film lampoons corporate corruption and portrayals of race in Hollywood after Putney Swope is accidentally voted chairman of the board of an advertising agency he renames Truth and Soul.

Cenac, a correspondent and writer for the satirical news program “The Daily Show” from 2008 to 2012, will introduce the film after performing at the Laugh Factory at 8 p.m. on Saturday.
