ROSCOE VILLAGE — Wanna get the most bang for your buck on Halloween?
Zillow says, head to Roscoe Village.
In the real estate website's rankings of Chicago's best neighborhood's for trick or treating, the North Side hamlet grabbed the top spot, followed by Edison Park and Bucktown.
Factoring in four key variables — home values, population density, Walk Score and local crime data — the rankings essentially indicate where little ghosts and goblins can safely nab the most candy in the least amount of time.
One thing Zillow didn't measure was holiday spirit, and Roscoe Village has that in spades too.
Catch the neighborhood's 16th annual Halloween Parade and Party, which steps off from Oakley and Roscoe at 2 p.m. on Oct. 26. Activities include trick or treating at local businesses, a costume contest and plenty of spooky fun.
