CHICAGO — A man was shot and killed in Roseland early Saturday.
Around 12:25 a.m., police responded to a call of shots fired and found the man, 21, in the backseat of a car with gunshot wounds in his forearm and chest in the 9300 block of South Wentworth Avenue, according to Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago police spokeswoman.
He was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office as Travis L. Wright, of the 9300 block of South Wentworth Avenue. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 1 a.m.
No other information was immediately available.
No one is in custody, and detectives are investigating.
