EDGEBROOK — North Branch Arts' annual fundraiser will give arts lovers a chance to laugh for a good cause.
Tim Walkoe, who has performed all over America as well as the Chicago Comedy Festival, will headline the Art of Comedy fall fundraiser scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4 at 5421 W. Devon Ave.
The event will also include food from Edgebrook restaurants, an art sale, raffle and music.
Edgebrook resident Bill Bunker, who moonlights as a comedian, will host the event. Kevin Flynn, the lead singer for Kevin Flynn and the Avondale Ramblers, will play an acoustic set.
North Branch Arts, which also cultivates a garden in downtown Edgebrook, offers classes and workshops in multidisciplinary art, literature, music, creative writing, gardening, test prep and financial literacy.
