UPTOWN — Next month features the last Vintage Garage Chicago flea market of the season, bringing to a close Vintage Garage's third year.
The Oct. 19 finale is titled the Record Ramp, a collaboration between the flea market and the Chicago Independent Radio Project to bring a special section to the market stocked with vintage vinyl records, 8-track tapes, tapes, memorabilia, electronics and more.
The event, at a parking structure at 5051 N. Broadway where radio project DJs plan to spin records from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.
Vintage Garage will also offer its usual array of vintage clothes, furnishings, household items, jewelry and electronics from across eras.
While this is the last Vintage Garage scheduled this year, organizers have hinted that fans should be on the lookout for news about special holiday events from the popular flea market.
