CHICAGO — A 44-year-old woman was shot Tuesday night in West Englewood.
The woman was shot around 8:45 p.m. while she was standing on the front porch of a home in the 7200 block of South Marshfield Avenue, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.
She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition after being shot in her stomach, Estrada said.
No one is in custody for the shooting.
