BUCKTOWN — The former Bluebird wine bar and gastropub will be replaced by Presidio, "a craft cocktail concept," according to a news release.

Bluebird closed in June after seven years at 1749 N. Damen Ave.

The new bar is owned by Patrick Cullen, a former attorney who has worked for Rockit Ranch and Drumbar.

The name Presidio was chosen as an homage to Cullen's family, many of who live in San Francisco home to the Presidio, a national park.

Presidio is expected to be open by this winter, a spokeswoman said.
