CHICAGO —A 17-year-old was shot in Lawndale Tuesday morning, police said.
Around 8:40 a.m., the teen was shot in his leg and back while he was in the 2700 block of West Flournoy Street, said Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized. No one is in custody for the shooting, Estrada said.
