AUBURN GRESHAM — Residents, especially seniors, are encouraged by a nonprofit to attend a free, outdoor health fair that will provide a host of services.

The Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation is sponsoring a free fair, outdoor health fair from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday at 7900 S. Racine Ave., as a way to provide basic health services that are not readily available to residents, said Carlos Nelson, executive director of the organization.

Free screenings for blood pressure, heart disease, breast cancer, cholesterol, prostate cancer and HIV will be provided by health professionals and vendors, such as Walgreens and CVS.
