CHICAGO — Beware North Side revelers.

Police are cracking down on drunken driving, and other violations, this weekend on the North Side.

Officers from the Foster District, which covers parts of Uptown and Lincoln Square, will be conducting a DUI Strike Force Patrol from 7 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday in the district.

Police are not only looking for drivers who show signs of being drunk, they're also looking for other violations including driving without a license, driving without insurance and disobeying traffic laws.
