Pilsen, Rogers Park Shootings Wound Two

CHICAGO — Two people were injured in separate incidents Friday.

About 12:45 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in the right hand the 1800 block of South Loomis Street in Pilsen, police said. He took himself to Stroger Hospital, and no more information was available.

A teen was shot in Rogers Park later Friday afternoon.

Police said the boy, 17, was shot in the right leg about 1:10 p.m. in the 2000 block of West Jarvis Avenue.

He was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanson, in good condition, police said. Authorities said the teen is a documented gang member.
