Pilsen Shooting From Black Pickup Truck Hospitalizes Two

CHICAGO — Two people were shot during a drive-by in Pilsen Sunday morning.

The two were exiting a home in the 900 block of West Cullerton Street around 3:50 a.m. when someone in a black pickup truck began shooting at them. A 17-year-old boy was shot in his knee and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition.

A 20-year-old man was also hit in his back. He was taken to University of Illinois-Chicago Medical Center in stable condition, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago police spokeswoman.

No one is in custody for the shooting.
