EDGEWATER — Residents are invited to watch Jackie Robinson West take on Philadelphia at a Little League World Series viewing party Thursday inside the Broadway Armory.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. game shown on ESPN. The winner goes on to play Las Vegas's Mountain Ridge team in the U.S. championship game on Saturday. The winner of that game goes on to play the in the final game of the international series on Sunday.

Dan Luna, chief of staff for Ald. Harry Osterman (48th), who is hosting the event, said Edgewater's Patio Beef would be serving hot dogs. The game will be shown on a 60-inch TV in the armory's gym, 5917 N. Broadway.
