WEST LOOP — The London-based Soho House, a posh hotel and members club, will partially open Friday night, just in time for any curious West Loopers looking for a new spot to grab dinner.

The hotel, located at 113-125 N. Green St., has publicly accessible areas that include a ground-floor cafe and bar as well as two restaurants, Pizza East and Chicken Shop, both of which have outdoor dining on Green Street.

The hotel also has a publicly accessible spa — the Cowshed — which has five treatment rooms, six mani-pedi chairs and a retail shop.

The members-only portion of the club officially opens on Monday, Aug. 11. Just south of Randolph Row on Green Street, the six-floor, 40-bedroom hotel will offer members a gym, screening room, and rooftop pool and lounge in addition to its two restaurants, spa and cafe open to the public.

Memberships at Soho start at $1,000 for an "Under 27" discounted rate and run up to $2,800 for access to Soho Chicago as well as its national and international sister clubs.

Anyone can book a hotel room at Soho Chicago, and guests have access to the club. Bedrooms — which come in small, medium and medium-plus sizes — begin at $240. The public spaces open Friday at 7 p.m.

Founded in London in 1995, Soho House Group now has 11 houses located in the U.K., Berlin, New York, West Hollywood, Miami and Toronto. This will be the group's fifth hotel and members club in North America.
