PILSEN — More than 30 galleries will stay open late Friday night for the neighborhood's annual "Gallery Night," a pumped-up version of Pilsen's monthly art walk.

2nd Fridays is an evening of art, vintage, food and drink that has many shops along 18th and Halsted streets keeping their doors open until 11 p.m.

Some of Friday's highlights include face painting by Ms Anna (including a peak at her first children's book "Everybody Hoops But Me ..."), The Lip Project (which uses conceptual photography and narrative to explore lips) at 11 Seventeen Studio, and free Revolution beer along with vintage deals and an expanded line of Taylor Street Soap from Comet Vintage.

Most shops and galleries will open at 6 p.m. and stay open until 11 p.m. For more details, visit the Chicago Arts District's website.
