CHICAGO — A 19-year-old man was found shot to death in New City Wednesday morning.
Police arrived in the 5400 block of South Laflin Street around 7:35 a.m. and found the teen unresponsive with a gunshot wound in his head. He was pronounced dead on the scene, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man was identified as Jeremiah Shaw, 19, of the 5900 block of South Wabash Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one is in custody.
