EDGEWATER — The City Council has cleared the way for Revival, a bar and restaurant, to replace breakfast-and-lunch joint m. henrietta on Granville Avenue.

The council passed a zoning change — from B1-3 to B3-3 — that would allow Revival to operate a 16-seat bar at 1133 W. Granville Ave. The approval Wednesday was good news to prospective owner Alan Stoll.

"We’re totally pumped," he said Monday. "We’re so excited about coming into the neighborhood. We’re feeling better and better about our concept."

Stoll said he and his business partner, Chris Bowler, are now applying for a liquor license, then will close on the sale of m. henrietta. They hope to open Revival in the fall.

The restaurant would serve dinner as well as breakfast, brunch and lunch. In the morning, the eatery would offer coffee.

It would be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays, 7 a.m. to midnight Fridays, 8 a.m. to midnight Saturdays, and 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.

M. henrietta owner Michael Moorman had said he wanted to "consolidate" and focus his attention on Andersonville's m. henry, which he also owns.
