CHICAGO — One shop in a former Wieboldt's Department Store will now house a Pet Supplies Plus.
The pet retailer, which provides organic pet food and grooming services, among other things, will celebrate its opening with free nail trims for dogs, a raffle, giveaways and samples Aug. 8-10.
Pet Supplies Plus was originally set to move into nearby 1295 N. Milwaukee Ave., but it will now open at 1289 N. Milwaukee Ave. The 9,020-square-foot location is the site of a former Wieboldt's Department Store, which underwent a multimillion dollar renovation after being bought for $33 million in 2011.
The location also formerly housed Chinese restaurant Eat First.
