Arts Incubator Hosts Block Party Saturday on Garfield Boulevard

HYDE PARK — Maggie Brown’s Interactions will join Washington Park and Hyde Park artists for the University of Chicago’s Arts Incubator on Saturday.

The Hyde Park Suzuki players, community actors, poets from the KLEO Center and the 63rd Street Drummers will perform at the arts incubator at 301 E. Garfield Blvd.

Events are scheduled from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Garfield Boulevard from Prairie Avenue to Martin Luther King Drive.

Maggie Brown’s Interactions will perform at 3:15 p.m.

Artists and design apprentices from the arts incubator will have their work on display starting at 11 a.m.
