A 19-year-old woman and 15-year-old girl were shot in North Lawndale a half hour earlier. They were on a porch in the 3800 block of West Arthington Street with a group of people when a car drove past and someone inside opened fire, grazing both teens, Greer said.

The 19-year-old was struck in her leg and the 15-year-old was struck in her cheek. Both women were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition. No one is in custody for the shooting, which occurred around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, Greer said.
