HYDE PARK — The Museum of Science and Industry has extended the “Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives” exhibit another five months due to popular demand.
The exhibit of 300 artifacts from Walt Disney’s career making animated films and opening theme parks will now run through Jan. 4.
The traveling exhibit, which opened in October, was originally supposed to close in May, but has now twice extended its run in Chicago due to its popularity with visitors to the museum at 5700 S. Lake Shore Dr.
The exhibit was extended through Aug. 3 and now Jan. 4.
“Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives” is not included with general admission and requires an additional pass.
