UPTOWN — This is a different sort of hat trick — the boozy kind you can drink.
New Holland Brewing Company is The Bar on Buena's July Brewery of the Month, and the beer-obsessed Uptown watering hole is tapping three special variations of New Holland's "Hatter" ales at 7 p.m. July 31 to show the Michigan-based brewery some love.
Here are the three Hatter brews that will be on tap July 31:
- New Holland “Michigan Hatter," an IPA with Michigan-grown cascade hops.
- New Holland “Black Hatter," a Black IPA.
- New Holland “White Hatter,” a Belgian Style WPA.
Bar on Buena (or B.O.B. if you want to sound like a local) also said it's tapping New Holland's "Incorrigible," a Bordeaux-Aged Sour Wheat Ale.
The drafts range from $6-$8, according to Bar on Buena, 910 W. Buena Ave.
A New Holland representative will be on hand to answer questions about the brewery, which is known for its 10 percent alcohol-by-volume "Dragon's Milk" brew, a popular bourbon barrel stout.
