CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man was shot in Brighton Park Tuesday night.

Around 10:16 p.m., the man was standing on a porch in the 4300 block of South Fairfield Avenue when someone opened fire, striking him in his foot. He was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, said Officer Ron Gaines, a police spokesman.
