South Chicago Shooting Wounds Two, Including 16-Year-Old Boy

CHICAGO — A 16-year-old boy and a 34-year-old man were wounded in a daytime shooting in South Chicago Tuesday, police said.

The shooting occurred on the 7900 block of South Exchange Avenue at 12:40 p.m.

The boy was wounded in his left leg and the man was shot in his biceps.

The two were sent to Stroger Hospital, where they are in good condition.
