CHICAGO — Three men were shot overnight across the city including a teen, believed to be 14 years old, shot in his leg in Chicago Lawn.

The shooting occurred around 9:40 p.m. in the 7100 block of South St. Louis Avenue. The boy was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, said Officer Ron Gaines, a Chicago police spokesman.

More information was not immediately available.

About five minutes earlier, a 21-year-old man was shot in the left thigh during a drive-by in Stony Island Park. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 8300 block of South Cregier Avenue when someone opened fire from a dark car. He was taken to Jackson Park Hospital in good condition after the shooting at 9:35 p.m., Gaines said.

In the most recent shooting, a 23-year-old man was in critical condition after being shot in Back of the Yards. Around 12:25 a.m., the man was standing in the 5400 block of South Paulina Street when someone shot him in the chest. He was transported to Stroger Hospital, Gaines said.

The man was a documented gang member and no one is in custody for the shooting, Gaines said.
