CHICAGO — A 48-year-old man was pulled from Lake Michigan Thursday night, police said.
Witnesses called police to the lake near the 5500 block of North Lake Shore Drive after hearing cries for help about 11:15 p.m., said Officer Ron Gaines, a police spokesman.
The man was rescued by the fire department and taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital where he is in critical condition.
