GOLD COAST — Prepare for some serious yard envy.

The 56th annual Dearborn Garden Walk returns to the Near North Side neighborhood July 20 from noon to 5 p.m., continuing one of the longest-running showcases of thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces.

Twenty hidden urban garden vignettes decorated by local designers are participating in the self-guided walking tour.

Included in the ticket price is a guided architectural tour of pre- and post-Chicago Fire structures, including homes occupied by celebrities and featured in TV and film. Architectural tours start at 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the gate. Advance ticket purchases include entry into a raffle for hotel packages.
