CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man was shot in Uptown Sunday night.
The man was standing in the 4500 block of North Broadway around 8:15 p.m. when he was shot in his upper leg. The man drove himself to Weiss Memorial Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a police spokesman.
The man is a documented gang member. No one is in custody for the shooting and detectives are investigating, Alfaro said.
