
CHICAGO — A Chicago Lawn man is charged with fatally stabbing a man after an argument in the victim's home.
Darius Smith, 23, of the 6300 block of South Albany Avenue was charged with first degree murder after the incident, which occurred Friday night.
Around 10:30 p.m. Friday, Smith got into an argument with Tony Ervin, 28, of the 6000 block of South Sacramento Avenue, police said. He then used a knife to fatally stab Ervin, police said.
Ervin was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center where he later died, police said.
Smith is expected in court Sunday.
