HYDE PARK — Prince Ermias Sahle Selassie of Ethiopia will be in Hyde Park to sign books on Friday.

Selaissie will visit Frontline Books, 5206 S. Harper Ave., from 5-7 p.m. to sign copies of “The Wise Mind of Emperor Haile Selassie I.”

He will return to the neighborhood on Sunday to talk about the origins of the Solomonic dynasty and the throne of David in Ethiopia at 1 p.m. at the DuSable Museum of African American History, 740 E. 56th Place.

Selaisse is the grandson of Haile Selaissie I, who was emperor of Ethiopia from 1930 to 1974. He currently serves as the president of the Crown Council of Ethiopia in exile, which pursues a largely cultural and humanitarian mission.
