CHICAGO — Two men were wounded in separate daytime shootings in West Garfield Park, police said.

In West Garfield Park, a 23-year-old man got into an argument with a relative when he was attacked by a golf club and shot in his right hand at 3:17 p.m. in the 4000 block of West Polk Street, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he is in good condition.

In a separate shooting, a 25-year-old man was shot in his right foot while in the 4300 block of West Adams Street, Cooper said. Police discovered the man at 11:46 a.m.

He was taken to Mount Sinai, where he was in good condition.
