CHICAGO — A man is dead and another is wounded following an early morning shooting in Washington Park Saturday.
Police were called to the 5600 block of South Wabash Avenue about 1:30 a.m. when they found two men shot in the alley, said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.
Brian Weekly, 18, of the 1400 block of West 79th Street, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
A 20-year-old man was sent to Stroger Hospital in critical condition due to unknown injuries, Estrada said.
