
CHICAGO — A 26-year-old man was fatally stabbed Thursday night in the city's Bronzeville neighborhood.
Police responded to a call in the 3900 block of South Indiana Avenue about 11:18 p.m. Thursday and found the 26-year-old had been stabbed, said Officer Ron Gaines, a police spokesman.
The man, who lived in the 4000 block of South Michigan Avenue, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12:27 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Officials there did not identify the man early Friday morning. Police said a person of interest is being questioned in the fatal stabbing.
