
CHICAGO — The teenage driver of a car that crashed killing a passenger in December was charged with homicide Monday.
Wallace D. Faust, 18, of the 7600 block of South Greenwood Avenue, was charged with two felonies: aggravated DUI resulting in death, and reckless homicide with a motor vehicle.
Police said Faust was the driver of a car that crashed in the 8100 block of South Chicago Avenue about 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 29, killing 18-year-old Darius Dudley. Police said Faust was speeding and disregarding traffic signals before the car crashed.
Faust was taken into custody the morning of the crash, and charged Monday.
