COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — Weeks after the Blue Line crash at O'Hare International Airport, a Belmont Cragin woman's "prank" call to 911 about a made-up emergency at the Jefferson Park station landed her in jail, prosecutors said.

Alicja Wojtal, of the 2500 block of North Lockwood Avenue, was arrested at her home Monday night after officials from the city's dispatch center tracked a phone used to call 911, prosecutors said.

Wojtal, 40, called 911 earlier that day and reported "a collapse" at the Jefferson Park Blue Line station, prosecutors said.

Five Chicago police squad cars and the fire department responded to the call, prosecutors said. When they arrived they observed no such emergency.

Wojtal was charged with felony reckless conduct.

A Cook County judge order her released from jail Tuesday to return to court on her own recognizance.
