CHICAGO — Police are investigating the shooting of a man wounded while shoveling snow Sunday morning.
The man, who is in his 20s, was shoveling snow in the 8500 block of South Constance Avenue about 10 a.m., when two people approached him, said Officer Michael Sullivan, a police spokesman.
"Words were exchanged," and one of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot the man in his upper left arm, Sullivan said.
The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition. No one is in custody, and Area South detectives are investigating.
In other gun violence Saturday night and Sunday, one man was shot in Lincoln Square, and two men were killed in South Chicago.
