Infant Found Dead in North Lawndale Apartment, Police Say

CHICAGO — A baby was found dead in a North Lawndale home Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The infant, either 6 or 7 months old, was found dead in the 3700 block of West 13th Street about 3:30 p.m., police said.

Two other children, ages 2 and 6, were found at the apartment and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital for a checkup. They appear to be OK.
